The Simone Veil hospital in Cannes, France – which fell sufferer to a disruptive ransomware assault two weeks in the past – has introduced that it refused to pay the extortion demand from the LockBit 3.0 ransomware gang. The power needed to take all its computer systems and techniques offline and reschedule non-emergency procedures and appointments within the aftermath of the assault. The gang has also released what It says are samples of information stolen throughout the assault.
