In a statement published on its investor relations website, Ingram Micro confirmed {that a} ransomware assault had impacted its inner techniques, and it had taken the step of “proactively taking sure techniques offline” whereas it tried to shore up its defences.
The group behind the assault is considered the SafePay ransomware group.
Ingram Micro has not shared any particulars of what information – if any – may need been exfiltrated by the hackers in the course of the course of the assaults.
