Exec will lead one of many group’s largest underwriting working corporations
International specialty insurance coverage distributor Amwins has introduced the appointment of Andrew McKay as president of Amwins Specialty Casualty Options (ASCS), a part of Amwins Underwriting.
In his new position, McKay will head up one of many largest underwriting working corporations inside Amwins. ASCS contains greater than 20 applications that target area of interest markets, together with public entity, PEO, transportation, healthcare {and professional} strains.
ASCS’s complete annual written premium exceeds $1 billion, Amwins said.
Previous to becoming a member of Amwins in 2020, McKay served in underwriting roles at Markel and Nice American.
