A professional-Russia hacker group, NoName057(16), has launched a wave of DDoS (distributed denial-of-service) assaults focusing on key Italian organizations.
Early on Monday, the group disrupted the web sites of main airports in Milan, together with Linate and Malpensa, in addition to the Transport Authority, the Intesa San Paolo financial institution and the ports of Taranto and Trieste.
The assaults have been reportedly minor, with the Italian Nationwide Cybersecurity Company (ACN) stepping in swiftly to mitigate disruptions. Officers confirmed that companies have been restored shortly, with no important affect on operations.
